From local casting to XR streaming
XR training often relies on casting to a screen, allowing a trainer to follow along and guide participants during the session. This works well within one room, but remains dependent on the same location and the same network.
XeeXR Remote Guidance removes that limitation. Everything that happens inside the VR headset is streamed live via the internet to a browser dashboard. This allows a trainer to follow along, give instructions, and guide users from any location, as if standing next to the participant.
This means XR training is no longer limited by the training room, but can be deployed at scale across multiple locations.
Works with existing XR applications
XeeXR Remote Guidance connects to existing XR applications. The participant opens the training, simulation, or software in the VR headset as usual.
Think of safety training, technical simulations, maintenance training, onboarding modules, soft skills training, educational VR, AR and MR environments or custom-developed applications.
When guidance is needed, the XeeXR stream is started and the trainer receives the live view in the browser dashboard. This means existing XR content does not need to be modified, and Remote Guidance can be used directly as an additional guidance layer on top of existing XR applications.

The trainer receives the XeeXR stream through a browser dashboard. This dashboard works on any suitable device with a browser, such as a laptop, desktop, tablet, or another VR headset. This means no separate software installation is required on the trainer side, and guidance can be started from virtually any location.
On the user side, the XeeXR Remote Guidance app is installed on the VR headset. This app enables the connection between the VR headset and the dashboard and allows the XR session to be streamed live to the trainer.
Live audio for direct guidance
In addition to video, XeeXR Remote Guidance also supports live audio between trainer and user. This allows the trainer to explain, answer questions, and guide the participant step by step during the XR session without interrupting the training.
When needed, audio from the XR application itself can also be sent to the dashboard. This depends on the application being used and is applied flexibly, because application audio can be valuable for the trainer in some situations, while in others it may distract from communication with the user.
From XR single-player to functionally multi-user
Some VR, AR and MR applications are developed for one user in the headset. In these single-player applications, the experience is normally limited to the person running the session.
XeeXR Remote Guidance makes this individual XR session functionally multi-user. A trainer, expert or stakeholder can become part of the experience live, without wearing a headset or operating the original application.
This creates additional value from existing XR applications. Training sessions can be guided more effectively, decisions can be discussed together and mistakes can be corrected at the right moment. The XeeXR Remote Guidance app is available through trusted VR platforms such as the PICO Business Store and SideQuest. This allows you to install the app through familiar channels designed for professional VR headset use.
After installation, we handle the secure connection with the XeeXR browser dashboard. This gives you full control over your devices and allows you to guide VR users live remotely from one central environment.

The XeeXR Remote Guidance app is available in the PICO Business Store for PICO 4 Enterprise. This allows you to download the Remote Guidance app directly through PICO’s official business app store.
XeeXR Remote Guidance is available through SideQuest for PICO 4 and Meta Quest 3 / Meta Quest 3S headsets. This allows you to install the app easily through a well-known and professional app platform.

How onboarding works
XeeXR Remote Guidance includes guided onboarding. This ensures that your dashboard account and VR headsets are connected correctly and securely before you start live sessions.
After registration, we personally guide you through this process so you can get started without technical complexity.
Register in the XeeXR dashboard
Create an account in the XeeXR dashboard. This is the central environment where you will manage your Remote Guidance sessions, view your devices, and receive live streams from the VR headset.
Download and install the Remote Guidance app
The XeeXR Remote Guidance app is available through trusted app stores for VR headsets and through the XeeXR browser dashboard. For PICO 4 Enterprise, the app is available in the PICO Business Store. For PICO 4 Enterprise, Meta Quest 3, and Meta Quest 3S, the app can also be installed through SideQuest.
After installation, open the app inside the VR headset. The app automatically displays a unique Device ID. Using this Device ID, we securely connect your headset to the XeeXR browser dashboard.
Inside the dashboard, you will find clear installation instructions and guides to help you get started step by step.
Open the app in the VR headset
Once the app is installed, open it in the VR headset. The app automatically generates a unique Device ID that is shown directly inside the headset.
This Device ID is required to connect your VR headset to your dashboard account.
Send us your Device ID
Email the Device ID to info@gotoviar.com and include the email address you used to register. Based on this information, we manually connect your VR headset to your account.
Activation and onboarding
Upon receipt of your Device ID, we initiate the onboarding and handle the connection of your headset for the 14-day free trial. Once the activation is completed, you will receive a confirmation by email.
After the trial period, you decide whether you want to continue with the Early Access program. Only upon your approval will you receive an invoice for the monthly subscription. After payment, we activate the continuation of the connection with your headset.
Start your first session
After activation, your VR headset will automatically appear in the dashboard. From that moment, you can start a session directly. The live stream from the headset becomes visible in your dashboard, allowing you to guide the user remotely.
