Beyond Remote Support

XeeXR builds on existing remote support but goes beyond simply viewing and explaining.

With XeeXR, an expert can provide direct visual guidance remotely within the user’s view. What would normally need to be explained is now shown exactly where action is required.

The user wears a VR headset, while the expert follows everything in real time via the browser-based dashboard and provides guidance with greater precision, less noise, and more control over the outcome.

This does not replace remote support, but extends it into a more powerful way of working together at a distance.

Where remote viewing falls short

Remote support makes expertise available at a distance, but knowledge transfer often still depends on verbal explanation. The expert can see the situation, yet still has to explain step by step what the user should focus on and which action is required.

This limitation becomes most apparent in technical, unfamiliar, or time-critical situations. Instructions must be understood, translated into practice, and then executed correctly.

XeeXR adds direct visual guidance to this process. As a result, knowledge is not only shared but directly linked to what the user sees and does. This makes remote guidance more concrete, faster, and easier to execute.

Why XeeXR starts with the standalone VR headset

A standalone VR headset is not a peripheral device, but a powerful computer worn by the user.

CPU, GPU, memory, storage, cameras, sensors, and audio come together in a single device. This creates the foundation for real-time streaming, visual guidance, annotations, shared content, 3D information, and AI applications such as recognition, support, and intelligent information delivery.

While other devices are often limited to a small display or minimal interaction, a VR headset offers more processing power, more visual space, and more possibilities to bring support directly into view.

The user works fully hands-free and receives support in a wide field of view, instead of relying on an external screen or a limited display.

This creates the foundation for Spatial Support: remote support that is more powerful, more visual, and better suited to situations where precision matters.

One platform, ready to use

On the expert side, XeeXR works entirely through the browser. No desktop installation is required to receive, follow, or guide a session.

The expert logs in to the dashboard and can work directly from a laptop, desktop, tablet, smartphone, or even a standalone VR headset. This means support is not tied to one fixed workplace or specific device.

On the user side, XeeXR runs as an app on the VR headset. The app connects to the platform and streams the user’s view to the dashboard in real time.

With a stable internet connection, XeeXR delivers a sharp and smooth stream with direct responsiveness in practice. This makes viewing and guiding feel natural, even when timing is important.

This creates one scalable workflow: open the dashboard in the browser, start the session, view the live stream, and provide direct remote support.

Hardware flexibility as a starting point

XeeXR is developed as a platform that is not tied to one specific type of hardware.

Every situation requires a different device. A smartphone or tablet can be suitable for quickly sharing a view. A smartglass can be valuable when direct access to video and communication is sufficient. A standalone VR headset offers the highest level of visual guidance, because it creates more room for interaction, overview, and direct in-view support.

A combination of devices can also be a logical choice. For example, when different users, tasks, or work environments come together within one process.

This means an organization does not have to be locked into a single device. XeeXR can adapt to real-world practice, from fast support to intensive visual guidance, depending on the situation, the user, and the intended application.

Because XeeXR is developed as a platform, we can also respond quickly to new VR headsets, smartglasses, and other devices entering the market in the years ahead.

Ready for AI-driven support

AI is becoming an important next layer within remote support. Not as a separate add-on, but as a way to make support smarter, faster, and more context-aware.

The VR headset provides a particularly strong foundation for this. By combining processing power, memory, storage, cameras, and sensors, AI applications can be brought closer to the user. Locally on the device where needed, via the cloud, or through a hybrid model.

The value of AI always depends on the situation, the available data, and the process that needs to be supported. That is why AI within XeeXR is not approached as a generic solution, but as a custom layer on top of the platform.

Think of recognition, process support, automatic information delivery, and targeted guidance at the moment the user needs it.

This makes XeeXR a future-ready foundation for the combination of XR, support, and AI.

Spatial Support and Remote Guidance

Two applications, one platform

XeeXR supports two forms of remote guidance.

Together, they form one platform for Spatial Support and Remote Guidance, designed for situations where physical and digital work environments come together.

XeeXR Spatial Support

For support in the physical world. An expert follows along in real time and can provide visual guidance within the user’s view.

XeeXR Remote Guidance

For guidance within VR training and virtual environments. A trainer or specialist can follow along remotely and guide users more effectively during use.

Smarter work with less friction

Where XeeXR makes the difference

More efficient use of experts

Experts can view and guide remotely without having to be physically present every time. This makes specialist knowledge available faster across multiple locations.

Lower hardware investment

Standalone VR headsets offer high processing power, visual space, and interaction capabilities at a lower investment than many professional smartglass solutions.

Scalable within organizations

Because the expert side runs through the browser, no desktop installation is required. Teams can start more easily, scale faster, and manage devices centrally.

Built on proprietary technology

XeeXR runs on an in-house developed XR engine. This allows us to maintain control over performance, stability, and targeted development based on real-world use.
